In February 2023, a large captive exchange took place, during which 46 Marines were returned home. This was one of the largest exchanges, in terms of the return of Marines. More returned only during the exchange on 21.09.2022.
The military met with the head of the Stalevi Charitable Foundation, Tetiana Kharko, who expressed her gratitude and support to all those who survived the Russian captivity and returned to their native land. Tetiana spoke about the foundation, the key goal of its activities and the tasks that are planned to be implemented in the near future.
The Marines shared their memories of the terrible days of the battles for Mariupol, described the difficult experience of being in captivity, recalled those brothers who are still there, and expressed hope for their return as soon as possible.
Similar meetings were also held in March and April 2023 and are planned in the future. We really want the Marines to know that here, in their native land, they have a loyal and reliable friend — the team of the Stalevi Charitable Foundation!
